Group Study Timer — Study With Me, In Sync

Studying with friends or running a study-with-me stream works best when breaks line up. Set a single focus block here and share the link, or use the auto-cycling panel further down as an option to run the whole rhythm, breaks included, without restarting anything between rounds.

Anyone opening your link right now sees exactly this.

Change the countdown

The board above is set to a single 25-minute focus block, and you can change it right there. For the full auto-cycling rhythm instead, use the panel below the board.

Opens the same countdown the code was made for.

CountLink is free, and one person builds it. If it's been useful, you can buy Bruno a coffee on Ko-fi.

Optional: auto-cycle through the whole session

The board above still works as a single focus-then-manually-restart block if that's all you want. This panel is the alternative when a study group or "study with me" stream wants the whole rhythm handled for it: set your focus and break lengths once, and it advances through every round on its own. Nobody has to notice zero and restart the next block.

Same mechanic as the interval timer and agenda timer: the cycle's start instant is the only thing the link carries, so every device works out which round and phase is "now" from elapsed time. There's no server and no viewer limit, and it's still correct if someone opens the link an hour into round six.

Common questions

Is this good for a "study with me" livestream?

Yes, set your focus-block length, share the link in chat or your stream description, and viewers studying along with you see the identical countdown to the second.

Can my study group use this even if we're not all together?

Yes, everyone opens the same link from wherever they are, and each device counts down to the same shared moment regardless of location.

Does it support a work/break cycle automatically?

It's optional. The board above the auto-cycling panel is a plain single block if that's all you want. Turn the panel on and it alternates focus and break on its own, round after round, with a longer break every fourth by default, all in sync on every screen from one link.
